For many years, the MENTOR has been setting the standard for XC-intermediate wings.  It combines impressive performance with a high degree of passive safety and it encourages pilots to exceed their boundaries.

We present our new XC-wing: the MENTOR 5 (EN/LTF-B) - the logical progression of the master of its class. Its high performance is more accessible and usable for progressing pilots.

Rinaldo Vuerich a NOVA team pilot already tested the performance potential of the wing in Kenya. Here is what he has to say, "I flew a 240km flat triangle with an average speed of 30 km/h with the MENTOR 5.  Unbelievable! This is the best MENTOR ever. I love this wing!"

The MENTOR 5 shows a marked performance increase on its predecessor. A slightly reduced trim speed leads to reduced sink and less brake pressure, while the top speed remains consistently high. The handling distinguishes itself with its agility and precision. This permits the wing to simply center in the thermal and take every climb.

A clever mixture of materials has made the wing lighter, more manageable and more durable. At the most important points, the MENTOR 5 has been fitted with sheathed lines. As a consequence, the lines basically sort themselves and launching is simple.

Weight ranges:
XXS: 55-80 // XS: 70-90 // S: 80-100 // M: 90-110 // L: 100-130
Would you like to know more about the MENTOR 5?

You can order the MENTOR 5 now. The sizes (XS, S, M, L) have been certified as EN/LTF B. Delivery of the sizes S and M will commence on the 28th February. The other sizes will follow in the next weeks.

The size XXS is made out of lighter fabric to improve flying characteristics. Consequently, the standard color is different.
