Last week we had our fair amount of rain and cold weather but this week is back to great training weather again. Rob spent the day working mostly on his landings while his take offs got better and better. We managed about 15 take off and full stops landings and two and a half hours of airtime....just about half of the minimum Transport Canada's requirements in just one day, awesome! We had an excellent training today starting pretty much at sunrise. Jonathan has made an excellent progress since we started 2 weeks ago, now he is almost ready to go for a solo flight after 19 hours of airtime. We had another excellent training day yesterday with Devan and Tom. While Devan was practicing reverse inflations, asymmetrical collapses, big ears and touch & go landings, Tom was getting some thermalling practice with his paramotor....fun, eh? In record time Jesse was able to fly through the course in only 6 days. Managed a day with 13 high flights starting at 10 am, having a lunch break for 3 hours and finishing at. 6 pm...it can't get any better... |
